The Michigan Real Estate Academy was established in 1983 and is owned and operated by the Greater Kalamazoo Association of REALTORS®. The MREA is approved by the State of Michigan and is conveniently located immediately west of historical Kalamazoo and U.S. 131 near numerous hotels, inviting restaurants, and shopping districts. The U.S. 131/I-94 junction is just south of the MREA location, situating the school at the half way point between Detroit and Chicago.
The MREA is located in the Greater Kalamazoo Association of REALTORS® facility with comfortable, state of the art classrooms including a hands on computer technology laboratory. Also, a spacious auditorium, with laptop computer connections available for larger educational gatherings.
All of the MREA Instructors are professional and active practitioners with years of experience in their respective fields. The instructors and the curriculums they teach are approved by the State of Michigan annually. Courses offered include a day and evening real estate licensing course every month, entry level appraisal courses, continuing education classes throughout the year, advanced real estate designation courses and numerous professional enrichment classes with national speakers.
